The terrain, in which the first pack was to be born, was covered by a dense forest.Trees of oak, maple, Cedar, and even willow were equally placed. In the middle of the forest, a crystal blue lake lay, disturbed only bt the swimming of the fish.A breeze swept through the land, waking the leaves from their slumber, and sending them swirling through the forest.
Amist all the action of the leaves, the crunching of twigs and branches echoed through the forest.Eyes of cold grey scanned the rugged forest, taking in her surroundings.Paws of white moved through the forest, as the young wolf made her way to the lake. The muscles in her small figured rippled as she moved. The rays of the sun shown down on her dirty white fur and left bloody hindleg, though she was without limp. The sun started to slowly set beyond the horizon as the wolf came into the lake's view, her dark grey eyes scanning the lake, as if looking for an answer. An answer to why her previous pack was unfairly destroyed.Destroyed by the creature that wolves fear the most....Humans. It was a human who set the last forest she lived afire, causing all to retreat. Two others of her previous pack escaped also, yet on the different side of the river, thus seperating the wolf from its only family.
The wolf stopped besid ethe water and peered in.Then retreated to her haunes and looked around her surroundings once again.A sigh escaped the wolf's muzzle as the sun was now gone and the moon began to rise. Doe and fawn made their way back to safety, knowing this is the time the night hunters prowl. The wolf's eyes scanned teh lake infront of her, watching the fish swim around and distrubute(sp?) ripples in different areas. She lifted her maw and released a mournful howl to the still rising moon, seeing as no wolf yet owned this land, she claimed it for herself. She lowered her maw and then retreated to her belly, wince she layed her head on her paws and closed her solemn grey eyes.

The sound of an amused chuckle penetrates through the deafening silence surrounding the forest. It traveled through the trees, and soon the sound shot up to reflect off the suns rays. Almost as soon as it was emitted, it dispersed. He shook his head in a disapproving, mocking sort of way. “When will they learn? When will they realize their stupidity? When will they realize owning land is as stupid as trying to own air, or water?”, the wolf’s vocals spat out scornful sort of way. Each syllable having its own gesture of hate as it flowed from his throat. He shuffled his long black fur around a while, before throwing dirt over the territory line in disrespect. After stepping over it, he spat, where the imaginary line supposedly was. "Sometimes I despise the wolven race."
Shakil's trampling about, attracted an angry, protective, mother crow. Shakil gave it no mind as it swooped down and began cawing(I'm not how to spell the word... but it's supposed to be the sound that a crow makes. XD) nonstop. At first, he was able to ignore it, and continue walking on; But after a while of the annoying thing, making such an irritating noise, he couldn't stand it anymore. So in one swift movement, he snapped his jaws at the bird in warning. Shocked, and scared out of it's mind, the crow became quiet and flew away.
“Is there any water in this god-forsaken terrain?!” he snorts to himself as he tramps along the natural dirt path ahead of him. Finally he arrives a large willow tree. The branches wavering gently in the continuous breeze. He stops, and lowers beneath the grand weeping tree, resting his sore pads, and closing his blind eyes slowly.
OoC: {Just so you know, I have nothing against you. Shakil is just a jerk. Take nothing seriously!} ^.^"

Footsteps were heard, deep into the forest, birds flew from the sound, the footsteps of a deathwish were coming closer, closer. A wolven wanted to kill it, kill the footsteps, kill the bird that flew away, kill the sound, kill the one who enters the forest this very moment. Blending with the dark mud, only standing out a touch. The calling of the wolven whom was not on this terra, no, but merely dissaperd throughout the world, was Rex. The calling of the one, whom Rex had killed, whom were the parents of this wolf in the forest, whom told him the most terrible secret of his life, were Kalik and Moon. And the calling of the wolf, whom had a death waiting for him, whom was the son of two alphas, whom had the secret, and whom was alone throught all of his life, was Kavik.
Kavik stepped from the shadows of the forest, his jade-green oculars rest upon the others, sencing a femmora and a brute he gave a flick of his tail. Kavik's coat was a dark shade of gray going half way up his legs, until fading into an onix black. His muscular legs were created for running, for years Kavik runs from other packs, all because of his dark secret, he was alone in the world.
Walking out from the forest Kavik decided not to run if the pack attacks. Giving a sigh he looked from the ground the the alphess, lifting his maw to the higher worlds and to his father, kavik let a booming song slip from his toung. 'Twas the song that asked permission to enter, Silently he felt ashamed, his life had been of beeing attacked by packs whom he asked to enter...why ask again...he tried, he failed, he tried he failed, he tried tried again. But when you get to a point of your life where you have been trying from the age of a pup, you should realize that somtimes, quitting is the right thing to do. All because of his secret, Kavik faild many many times, this was to be his last request...all because...becasue....he was part dog.

-Scents arose to Makaki's muzzle. She lifted her small body from wince she layed and scanned the area with her dary grey orbs.A howl then came to her auds.Makaki stood to her full height, looking for where the howl came. From whom the song came. She lifted her own maw now, but towards the moon, and dispersed her own howl, granting the wolf permission.Makaki knew from the scents that they were two brutes upon her terrain.Yet, only one requested to enter.Makaki made her way from her area and heeded towards the lake. The lake reflected the moon's shape and beauty, and the fish played beneath the surface.Other creatures, too, lived deep within the lake, yet none have been spotted since Makaki's call. Her tail flickered behind her as she awaited the view of the brute.-

Auds perked as Kavik heard the reply, 'finally, after years of search, a pack that accepts me.' he thought to himself. A slight smile formed on his maw as he ponderd inot the terrain. As he got closer to the alphess he lowerd his body and tail, showing his respect for her beeing alphess. Waiting for her to speak first as alphas' normally do, his jade oculars looked up at hers, awaiting for her reply.

-Her dark grey eyes scanned the new arrival. She bowed her head back in respect, then spoke. "Hello, weary wonderer." she started. "What brings you upon this land I call home?" her words were firm, yet calm. They danced like a flowing melody. She lifted her head back up and awaitied his response.-

Slowly lifting himself, still lower than the alphess, he spoke kindly, "I am a wanderer, looking for a pack. I am asking to stay." His onix coat stood out from the light sun which beamed upon him.

-Her dark grey eyes lightened a bit.A wolf was now wanting to join her. She thought for a moment, thinking of her options, then she spoke again. "Permission to stay.." she paused."Granted." a smile played upon her lips as she kept her orbs upon the wolf. "Tell me.What is your name?"-

as she spoke a smile formed upon himself, he spoke kindly and merrily the words of joy, "Thankyou, my calling is Kavik, as you are...?" He asked, following out the word 'are'. Hearing the footsteps of another wolven, he turned around. After not seeing him, Kavik turned his attention back to the alphess.

Kavik nodded and said, "Pleasure to meet you." Walking towards a nearby rock, Kavik leaped upon it and layed himself to rest. Not sleeping, but merely daydreaming... ~Kavik was running, running towards the moon. The moon had a face upon it, a white femmora's, her coat was silvery white, her orbs were clearwater blue. Kavik was racing towards it, but he seemed to get nowhere. You could here him yelling in the distance, "mother...mother come back! Please come back!" The wolven was tearing now, he raced to his mother untill the moon dissapeard...along with herself. Kavik stopped and fell.~ kavik was repeating the dream over and over again, why he longend for his mother so badly would remain a mystery.

Shakil's eyes shot open. His body made a sudden jerk as the wind carried the scent of two others on its drift. Now, he knew there were other’s on this terrain, why else would there be a scent of ownership?! –But the thing that got to him, was that the scents were so strong; meaning they were extremely close by. “Well, there’s no way I haven’t been detected. If they’re this close, they obviously already know I’m here… well, I guess it’s best to make the first move”, his vocals mumbled in an irritated tone as he lifted himself up, gaining his fours.
Shakil’s skin was wrapped tightly around his frame, because of the lack of food. One might compare his state to how a drum skin is wrapped around a drum. –But luckily for Shakil, his pelt was quite thick, making his thin stature unnoticeable. But lack of food was something he had learned to get use to. When you’re traveling alone, you can’t necessarily take down a large, meaty musk ox. Actually, you’d be lucky if you ended up with a Mallard. –But hunger was only a small factor; Shakil had bigger fish to fry.
As Shakil approached the two, he slowed his pace down, and swiftly came to a stop. He stopped to choose his words wisely, but failed. “I wish to inquire about your reasoning. I am a trespasser, you’ve obviously sensed me, so why are you so calm?” After speaking his words, he quickly wished he hadn’t done that, he wished he would’ve just came, and left. Not disturbing the terrain as it was.

-Makaki's orbs quickly layed upon the new brute. "I knew you were upon my terrain." she responded, her vocals firm. Her orbs studied the new figure, taking in its features. "I am alphess of this terrain and I want to inquire your reason for being here." her orbs glinted. She took a glance at Kavik, then retured her view back to the other being.-

Kavik lifted himself to a sitting position, looking towards the talking wolves, he paid no attention for now. Casting his orbs to the river he walked towards it, lowering his maw into the cool water, Kavik lapped thirstily. Seeing his reflection, Kavik saw himself tchange into a lighter shade of black with brown eye, but what he saw wasn't a wolf but a dog. Reaching towards the figure he slapped the water untill it made ripples, then he ran into the clearing. Upset Kavik sighed, for that figure, was his dad.
